Father Jan van den Berg started the company out of pure passion for outdoor clothing. He was convinced that he could change the world of outdoor clothing with his knowledge and vision. He brought the first few wax coats by car from England. From these small beginnings, the company has grown into a leading brand in casual outdoor clothing that suits people who love quality and feel connected to the outdoors.
Today, the authentic wax jacket has been updated using new materials and insights, and under the wings of daughter Margot, the range has expanded. MGO Leisure Wear is now an outdoor clothing brand with an extensive collection, from wax coats to wool sweaters with leather details made from sustainable materials. The clothing is not only beautiful, but also functional and comfortable.
